About the role

  • Bulk Account Merchandiser responsible for selling and presenting products for Coca-Cola Consolidated. Building customer relationships and executing promotions on daily pre-set routes.

Responsibilities

  • Selling, ordering and presenting products
  • Managing and executing in assigned group of customers on daily routes
  • Generating sales orders based on delivery frequency
  • Executing promotions and new products
  • Merchandising products and packages following quality guidelines
  • Organizing and maintaining back room by stacking and arranging product
  • Creating and distributing point-of-sale materials
  • Fostering business relationships with store personnel
  • Identifying and communicating competitive issues or market activities

Requirements

  • Valid instate driver’s license
  • Excellent driving history
  • Proof of insurance policy for liability and property damage
  • High School Education / GED
  • Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting
  • Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively)
  • Critical thinking skills
  • High initiative and willingness to learn
  • Career-mindedness and a highly competitive nature
