About the role
- Network Administrator managing and securing the network infrastructure for Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast. Ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal performance across all sites and systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure network security through access controls, firewall policies, VPNs, and regular patching
- Manage IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and VPN connectivity across multiple locations
- Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades, network improvements, and infrastructure projects
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and change records
- Perform routine backups and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for network‑related incidents and escalations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry security standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise networks
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security principles
- Hands‑on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience supporting Microsoft and/or Linux‑based environments
