Responsibilities
Design and implement functional and efficient network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet systems.
Install and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
Perform network maintenance and monitoring tasks to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability, and troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
Evaluate network performance and develop solutions to optimize it.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integration of network systems with other IT systems.
Stay up-to-date on emerging network technologies and make recommendations for the improvement of the company's network systems.
Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
Excellent knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, VLAN, and VPN.
Strong experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures, using different network hardware and software products, such as Cisco, HP, Juniper, and Fortinet.
Experience in implementing and troubleshooting network security solutions, such as firewalls, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, and SIEM.
Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
