Responsibilities
- Lead the North American infrastructure and DevOps teams, setting vision, priorities, and performance goals
- Oversee AWS cloud environments, ensuring availability and cost optimization
- Drive CI/CD pipeline maturity and infrastructure-as-code
- Oversee the lifecycle, security, and updates of media player OS across customer fleets
- Implement and continuously refine alerting, logging, and monitoring frameworks
- Establish and maintain standards for change control, security, and documentation
- Partner closely with Product Management and Delivery teams
- Champion an automation-first mindset
- Build capability within the team through coaching and skill development
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, and systems operations; 3+ years in a leadership capacity
- Deep expertise in AWS environments, including cloud architecture, networking, IAM, and cost management
- Strong background in Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation frameworks
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
- Proven implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
- Hands-on experience managing monitoring and alerting tools such as Sumo Logic, Grafana, or Prometheus
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of global infrastructure operations across distributed regions
- Exposure to ITIL service management practices (preferred)
- Familiarity with media device management or digital signage systems (preferred)
