Responsibilities
Provide commercial management and advisory services in line with NEC contract principles
Act as a trusted commercial advisor to the client and project stakeholders
Support the administration and management of NEC contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, and change control
Provide commercial input during the design phase, including cost advice, risk allocation, and contract strategy
Prepare and review cost plans, forecasts, and financial reports
Support procurement strategy and tender evaluations from a commercial perspective
Assist with valuations, payment assessments, and final account negotiations
Identify, assess, and advise on commercial risks and opportunities
Ensure best practice, compliance, and value-for-money outcomes for the client
Requirements
Proven experience working in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Consultant role
Strong experience advising on NEC contracts (NEC4)
Demonstrable experience working on design-stage contracts and design-led projects
Background in infrastructure or civil engineering projects
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work autonomously within a remote consultancy model
