Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all store activities to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve commercial objectives
Lead and manage your sales, cashier, inventory and workshop teams (coaching, organization, communication, vision, sharing objectives and results)
Be responsible for the quality of customer welcome, services and advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on-floor presence, versatility)
Produce reports and activity analyses and propose continuous improvement initiatives
Optimize staff schedules while respecting allocated budgets
Ensure staff training on best practices for customer reception, advice and sales, product knowledge and protocols, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
Oversee replenishment with a “zero stockout” objective by ensuring efficient stock organization and shelf restocking
Organize and lead inventories to limit shrinkage
Monitor cash registers and ensure deposits to the bank are accurate, escalating information to the accounting department
Ensure the correct organization and execution of store opening and closing procedures
Coordinate external service providers (technical maintenance, building and equipment upkeep, security, etc.) to ensure premises compliance and safety
Be in charge of the store presentation and surrounding areas: maintain the company image (cleanliness, merchandising setup, optimizing customer flow, etc.)
Requirements
Commercial/business education or equivalent
3 to 5 years of team management experience in retail
Knowledge of cosmetics and/or organic products is a plus
Strong understanding of retail operations: customer advising, reporting, performance indicators, and stock management
Proficient with office software (MS Office) and point-of-sale systems (ideally Cegid)
