About the role
- Warehouse Solution Design Manager at CEVA Logistics overseeing automation and complex solutions for warehousing. Engaging with clients to design cost-effective and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and work on high value, multi-functional or complex solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert in the application of automation, mechanisation and other innovative warehouse technologies
- Support business proposals with compliant, cost‑effective warehouse solutions delivered on time
- Apply strong knowledge of cost models, operating models, infrastructure and business strategy
- Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Research warehouse automation, conduct site visits and manage supplier relationships
- Act as the main contact for project cost and commercial matters
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop and recommend solutions
- Lead operational reviews with Business Development to secure sign‑off
- Support major project implementations and assist with proposals and presentations
- Provide ad‑hoc support to the Head of Solutions Design.
Requirements
- Experienced in Warehouse Solutions Design, ideally within a Contract Logistics or Warehousing Supply Chain environment
- Subject matter expert in automation and mechanisation
- Proven experience of designing and implementing innovative warehouse technologies and service offerings for customers
- Experience using Auto-CAD or specialist warehousing design tools
- Exceptional ability to communicate and translate complex solutions
- Proven project and change management experience.
