About the role
- Senior Financial Controller ensuring reliability of CMA CGM's fleet financial data. Managing budgeting, costs, and financial reviews with the fleet team for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability of financial information and related analyses for the technical management of CMA CGM's fleet vessels
- Participate in the monthly close process
- Ensure the accuracy of cost accounting
- Analyze monthly variances between actuals and budget/forecast
- Analyze the annual forecast
- Conduct a monthly financial review with the fleet team
- Produce the summary of the monthly review for the Management Control Manager
- Provide support for budget and forecast preparation
- Contribute to process and tool improvements
Requirements
- Degree in management control and/or finance
- At least 3 years of experience in management control
- Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in transaction/period-end closing
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
