About the role
- Maritime Data Analyst Specialist optimizing data reporting software V2PS for CMA CGM. Supporting vessel operations and collaborating with IT for data integration and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to vessels in using the V2PS software and during deployment of new versions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the V2PS software (requirements analysis – shipboard & shore / development management / testing)
- Provide functional support for intervention requests related to V2PS/VRS data
- Contribute to data integration and software development
- Proactively propose future enhancements for V2PS while maintaining a strong focus on the operational and functional aspects of its use aboard CMA CGM fleet vessels
- Collaborate with the IT department to improve data collection and software functionality.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Master's level or equivalent) or Merchant Navy Officer
- Minimum 2 years' experience within an internationally-oriented company
- Strong data analysis skills
- Maritime experience or training is a plus
- Full professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
