Responsibilities
Strategically develop the business by expanding customer relationships and acquiring profitable new business (take care of new and existing customers)
Negotiate contracts’ terms and conditions
Monitor market and competition
Detect and follow-up on new opportunities by open-source data bases
Actively work in the CRM system (Salesforce)
Cooperate closely with Sales Support Team, Pricing and Operations departments
Prepare customer-specific requirement profiles
Requirements
Proven professional experience of air & sea freight market
Completed commercial training, ideally as a sales specialist or forwarding
High level of customer relationship building skills
Ability to work in a local and international team, flexibility, commitment and initiative
Very good command of English with overall good communication skills
High customer and service awareness
Independent as well as target- and solution-oriented way of working
