About the role

  • Help execute corporate communications for Bauer Media Outdoor through content creation and distribution. Collaborate with teams to enrich internal and external communications within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collating, preparing, and publishing content across internal communications channels incl. MyBauer (intranet/ SharePoint), internal newsletter (HubSpot) and internal screens, collaborating closely with the Internal Comms Senior Manager and liaising with BMO stakeholders for inputs.
  • Contributing to the implementation of/feeding into BMG-led comms initiatives and requests across BMO UK & Europe.
  • Publishing news articles on the BMO UK website and building/editing selected webpages (Webflow) and sharing content on other platforms (Vimeo).
  • Assisting with preparation for internal events/Crews (employee networks) activities, meetings and presentations involving comms updates.
  • Keeping PR & Communications assets and collateral updated and organised.
  • Support media relations through our media monitoring/PR distribution platform, including media list updates & coverage reports.
  • Monitoring and responding to public enquiries.

Requirements

  • You are either a postgraduate with little or no professional experience, or a school leaver who has completed A-levels or a BTEC qualification and then went straight into work, gaining hands-on experience (even if not specifically in PR).
  • You will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in PR & Communications.
  • Copywriting skills/experience would be beneficial (or a tangible desire to develop them).
  • Highly organised, demonstrating attention to detail & diligence.
  • A keen adopter of new tools & technologies.
  • Curious to learn about the business, industry and latest developments in PR & Communications.
  • A good communicator, with a proactive and self-starter mindset.
