About the role

  • Solutions Engineer in Cisco's Global Virtual Sales organization connecting customers with transformative solutions. Focus on technical sales in Enterprise Networking with collaborations across various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that technical information and guidance is provided to the customer
  • Deliver meaningful outcomes based on Cisco’s product and services portfolio
  • Partner with Inside Account Executives in a pre-sales technical function
  • Showcase Cisco solutions
  • Deliver customer presentations
  • Perform technical demonstrations
  • Create BoMs
  • Run proof of concept activities
  • Collaborate closely with iAEs in account planning activities
  • Educate customers on Cisco differentiation

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B selling experience in a similar or adjacent industry
  • Proven track record of achieving at least 100% quota attainment or YoY growth of 10% or more
  • Fluency in Italian/English
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle end-to-end (Preferred)
  • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or similar vendor certification preferred
  • Customer intimacy skills
  • Pre-sales experience preferred
  • Market knowledge including solution, technology and offerings
