About the role

  • Store Design Junior Project Manager supporting high-quality retail store projects across UK & ANZ. Focused on managing projects from briefing to installation, ensuring brand execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the delivery of concession store projects including approvals, retailer coordination and supplier liaison
  • Maintain design standards across all architectural details ensuring reflected correctly in retailer environments
  • Preparing, owning and updating project CPAs and presenting progress to the business
  • Manage design pack submissions for internal approval and retailer sign off, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, internal teams and retailers, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned
  • Support the review of manufacture drawings with the design team to ensure design integrity and compliance with safety standards
  • Assist in development and updates to design standards guidelines
  • Manage all admin elements of projects including documentation, filing, tracking, purchase orders and project budgets
  • Attend installations, resolve issues on site and ensure snagging completed to brand standard
  • Support the broader team with meeting coordination, preparing decks, updating presentations and capturing meeting notes

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role within Project Management in Store Design
  • Experience in managing the approval process for retail stores in all types of environments (Retailer Stores, Free Standing Stores)
  • Extensive knowledge of best practice within the construction industry including accessibility and building codes
  • Exceptional eye for detail and great vision on how to use spaces and commercial opportunities
  • Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues
  • Excellent communicator: confident and comfortable presenting, able to influence and effectively articulate your point of view
  • Exceptional organisational skills and can manage multiple stakeholders with ease
  • Decisive problem-solving skills with regards to construction materials and methods
  • Awareness of design trends and materials
  • Strong understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural concepts
  • Excellent project planning and time management skills
  • Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives
  • Super confident using the MS Suite; Monday.com knowledge advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Vectorworks, AutoCAD and basic Photoshop, InDesign
  • Knowledge of best practice within the construction industry, including accessibility requirements is advantageous.
