Project Manager overseeing construction projects in the wind and crane industries for Freo Group. Managing profitability, safety, customer service, and employee relations across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Profitability: to ensuring that works on the project are carried out in accordance with the budget, and reporting requirements
Quality & Safety: assist with the implementation and maintenance of an effective Quality & OHS management system consistent with legislative requirements and company policies
Customer Service: liaise closely with the client to ensure that projects are performed in a compliant, honest and professional manner to achieve overall customer satisfaction
Employee Relations: manage a team of crane operators, riggers, and subcontractors to ensure that our clients are provided with quality(superior) workmanship at a reasonable(acceptable) cost while upholding company's (core) values and culture
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent combination of technical qualifications and relevant industry experience
Project Management certification desired
5 or more years’ Project Management experience in Construction
Wind industry and Crane industry experience desired
Training in Contract Management or Project Management
Must have experience in managing $20m + projects
Experience leading, developing and managing teams
Contract and commercial management experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage budgets and timelines
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Solid knowledge of safety and compliance standards
Safety first approach
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple stakeholders simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and contractors
Demonstrated sound written and oral communication skills including report writing
Computer skills including MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and MS Project
