Responsibilities
Lead a sales team to achieving the budgeted sales quota for the year
Directly supervise a team of 5+ Account Development Executives
Monitor performance and achieve financial goals
Develop, motivate and counsel staff in a collaborative environment
Provide feedback information about market conditions and plan sales strategy per quarter to achieve fiscal year goals
Work with current and competitive accounts
Hire and build a successful sales team
Direct/manage staff performance
Handle customer issues and satisfaction to increase client retention
Requirements
4 year college degree or equivalent experience
Experience in automotive industry
Minimum 6-8 years of related experience in leading a quota-exceeding outside b2b sales hunters; selling complex systems (DMS, SaaS etc)
Demonstrated track record of success in a solutions selling environment
7-9 months of job related formal Sales training
1-3 years of outside B2B sales/including new business development
Excellent planning, project management, analytical and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and work within a multi-functional team environment, with a strong track record of delivering measurable results
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including the ability to make effective presentations to a variety of senior level audiences
Demonstrated ability to make meaningful recommendations to senior management regarding the strategic direction of the sales organization, including the ability to make tough recommendations
Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology applications
Excellent work ethic, with ability to succeed in a competitive, high-performance work environment
Be a self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of automotive - technology and digital solutions preferred
Ability to travel approximately 75% is required
Quota at 100% or more every year
