About the role
- Demand Planning Analyst role at Catupiry focusing on statistical forecasts and S&OP processes in the food sector. Collaborating with supply chain and commercial teams for product launches and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update and monitor short-, medium- and long-term demand forecasts using statistical methods and trend analysis;
- Lead the S&OP/S&OE process, ensuring alignment among all involved areas;
- Analyze variances between forecasted and actual demand, identify root causes and propose continuous improvements;
- Manage and maintain the demand database, ensuring data integrity and reliability;
- Monitor accuracy indicators (MAPE, Bias, Forecast Accuracy), inventory levels and product availability;
- Build reports and dashboards to support decision-making;
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to define replenishment strategies and mitigate stockout or excess inventory risks;
- Participate in new product launches by estimating initial demand and tracking performance;
- Interact with commercial teams to understand market initiatives, promotions and seasonal variations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Logistics or related fields;
- Experience in demand planning within the food industry;
- Advanced Excel skills.
