About the role
- Condition Monitoring Site Performance Manager supporting telematics needs at Caterpillar across customer and dealer operations. Drive improvements in Condition Monitoring and telematics services with customers and dealers.
Responsibilities
- Conducts customer fleet inspections to identify telematics improvements to enable Condition Monitoring and other solutions.
- Performs telematics hardware and software upgrades and repairs as needed to support Condition Monitoring and other solutions.
- Consults customers and dealers on Condition Monitoring applications such as applied technology, machine health, and safety.
- Collects product and customer requirements to capitalize on opportunities to grow condition monitoring capabilities and processes.
- Influences the development of technology tools/systems and works with key stakeholders to deploy technologies to drive Condition Monitoring growth.
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand future needs and develop solutions for Condition Monitoring.
- Takes ownership of customer issues and requirements to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Identifying and documenting job/application profiles based on field observation while working with customers.
- Manages customer relationships to influence equipment management strategies and assist in the deployment of Condition Monitoring solutions.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Product Link™, VisionLink, VIMS, inspection processes, equipment lifecycle planning, S•O•S Services, Cat Payload systems, Software Enabled Attachments (SEA) Activation, Product Status Reports, and the Service Information System (SIS) is desired.
- Prior experience with Product Link hardware installations and management of machine configuration files is required.
