Condition Monitoring Site Performance Manager supporting telematics needs at Caterpillar across customer and dealer operations. Drive improvements in Condition Monitoring and telematics services with customers and dealers.
Responsibilities
Conducts customer fleet inspections to identify telematics improvements to enable Condition Monitoring and other solutions.
Performs telematics hardware and software upgrades and repairs as needed to support Condition Monitoring and other solutions.
Consults customers and dealers on Condition Monitoring applications such as applied technology, machine health, and safety.
Collects product and customer requirements to capitalize on opportunities to grow condition monitoring capabilities and processes.
Influences the development of technology tools/systems and works with key stakeholders to deploy technologies to drive Condition Monitoring growth.
Collaborating with internal teams to understand future needs and develop solutions for Condition Monitoring.
Takes ownership of customer issues and requirements to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Identifying and documenting job/application profiles based on field observation while working with customers.
Manages customer relationships to influence equipment management strategies and assist in the deployment of Condition Monitoring solutions.
Requirements
Working knowledge of Product Link™, VisionLink, VIMS, inspection processes, equipment lifecycle planning, S•O•S Services, Cat Payload systems, Software Enabled Attachments (SEA) Activation, Product Status Reports, and the Service Information System (SIS) is desired.
Prior experience with Product Link hardware installations and management of machine configuration files is required.
