About the role

  • Senior Operations Buyer executing procurement transaction processes and managing supplier relationships at Cargill. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and assisting in sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine activities within established procedures and limits for one or more sourcing categories or locations
  • Execute procurement transaction processes and procurement records
  • Provide location procurement support
  • Handle supplier events and relationships
  • Implement sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with process lead and team manager on the maintenance of ongoing tracking mechanisms for basic performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on procurement processes, procedures and requirements
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of relationships with suppliers
  • Execute procurement transactions to ensure the end to end purchase order process is completed
  • Handle moderate to complex issues and problems

Requirements

  • Fluency in English – written and verbal
  • Dutch language will be considered as a strong advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning
  • Experience working in shared service operations
  • Minimum of three years of experience in procurement or invoice to pay processes
  • Customer service experience
