Sales Account Manager responsible for building customer sales strategies for Cargill's protein business. Managing customer portfolios and facilitating growth through effective communication and relationship building.
Responsibilities
Develop customer sales strategies and build relationships based on the company's values.
Manage a portion of our customer portfolio and drive new customer growth through prospecting.
Process customer orders, manage overall order fill rate, and delivery service.
Gather and communicate changes in the marketplace and customer behavior.
Nurture customer relationships utilizing the Cargill Sales Framework, logging interactions on Salesforce.
Learn the protein markets/trends and consult with retail space/food service/manufacturing customers.
Independently solve moderately complex issues while escalating more complex issues as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Bilingual in English & Spanish.
Proven negotiation and selling skills and experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Preferred).
SAP experience (Preferred).
Protein trading experience (Preferred).
Data analytics experience (Preferred).
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Preferred).
Salesforce experience (Preferred).
