About the role

  • Superviseur(e) des Opérations at Cargill overseeing terminal operations, employee management, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for terminal operational functions in employee management, safety procedures, and production operations
  • Act as a leader and influencer to foster a culture of safe behaviour
  • Ensure safety is the top priority for all plant users
  • Develop operational plans and monitor ongoing operations for all production processes
  • Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports
  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions
  • Perform the same tasks as members of your team
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma/certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year of directly related work experience
  • Experience in health and safety management
  • Proficiency with software (Microsoft Office)
  • Able to work evening shifts, holidays, and weekends as required by operations
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Legally authorized to work for Cargill in Canada
  • One year of supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Experience managing staff in a unionized environment (preferred)
