Responsibilities
Develop and implement a maintenance strategy in line with the company’s best practices for rapeseed and sunflower pressing, refinery operations and utilities, using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Manage the department budget, including planning, monthly performance reviews and initiating corrective actions when deviations occur.
Collaborate and coordinate with other plant functions to optimally support the production process.
Ensure all maintenance work is carried out according to applicable safety policies to protect the health and well-being of all employees.
Prioritize maintenance activities based on existing schedules, work allocation and available budget.
Monitor maintenance execution to minimize production interruptions and maintain equipment reliability.
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team (mechanical and electrical), including coaching and making decisions in talent management, recruitment, performance appraisal and, where necessary, corrective actions.
Coordinate investigations into equipment failures, downtime and production losses, and identify opportunities to improve reliability or reduce risk.
Implement CAPEX projects within the maintenance scope of responsibility.
Requirements
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
Proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment, particularly in maintenance.
Experience leading or managing teams and the ability to motivate and coordinate employees.
Experience coordinating work across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation).
Intermediate English skills and advanced German language skills.
Demonstrable experience in budget planning and cost control within maintenance.
