About the role

  • Customer Service & Logistics Specialist organizing transportation and managing customer orders at Cargill. Collaborating with suppliers and service providers to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing transportation and ensuring the proper execution of commodity contracts
  • Communicating daily with various departments
  • Coordinating the loading schedule
  • Ensuring smooth operations in collaboration with railway companies, suppliers, and service providers
  • Receiving and processing moderately complex to complex customer orders
  • Explaining information and informing customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete an order
  • Processing moderately complex to complex document requests from customers and confirming final shipping and quality documentation and specifications
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to improve the order management processes
  • Independently solving moderately complex issues with minimal supervision
  • Escalating complex issues to appropriate staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics
  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong analytical abilities and can manage/evaluate large volumes of data
  • Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken
  • Good IT skills: MS Office, Excel; SAP is a plus
