- Global Demand Planning Director at Honeywell responsible for demand forecasting and team supervision in Switzerland. Collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance for improved customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and align volume & revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and/or channels.
- Ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible, planned, and supported through the supply chain while delivering customer satisfaction and improving inventory and working capital.
- Supervise a team of demand planners located in multiple geographies.
- Coach and develop your team to continuously improve their skill set.
- Interface with sales, marketing, and finance organizations, utilizing statistics, sales projects, and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18-month SKU level demand plan.
- Work with finance to enable comparison and gap analyses between the demand forecasts and business financial goals.
- Apply lean six sigma techniques to continuously improve processes and metrics.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Demand Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.
- Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, marketing or supply chain management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Ability to work with large amount of data and knowledge of advanced analytics tools- Tableau/Power BI (Reports development)
- APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
