About the role

Responsibilities
- Support engineering projects by performing technical tasks, conducting tests, and assisting in the development and maintenance of engineering systems.
- Report directly to Engineering Supervisor and work out of Trieste on a hybrid work schedule.
- Impact project success by providing reliable technical support, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and systems.
- Build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.
- Perform technical tasks including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and components.
- Collect, record, and analyze data to assist engineers in product development and quality assurance.
- Maintain and calibrate engineering equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 2+ years of experience in engineering technician roles
- Knowledge of engineering principles, testing procedures, and technical equipment (multimeter, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools relevant to engineering tasks
- Familiarity with safety and quality standards in engineering environments
- Technical certifications or associate degrees in engineering technology
- Experience with project support and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in team environments
- Good organizational and communication skills
