About the role
- Proof of Concept Developer aiding in innovative data solutions at Gigged.AI. Collaboratively prototyping data products while ensuring best practices and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Proof of Concept data products using Databricks and related technologies
- Translate business requirements into technical prototypes in collaboration with stakeholders
- Build, test, and iterate data pipelines, notebooks, and models within Databricks
- Present findings, prototypes, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Document processes, decisions, and outcomes for knowledge sharing
- Ensure all development follows best practices, governance, and security standards
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay up to date with emerging data technologies and bring new ideas into the team
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud platforms (ideally Azure)
- Proven experience developing data products, pipelines, and prototypes in enterprise environments
- Expertise in data preparation, transformation, and integration from multiple sources
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
