Engineering Support Specialist II supporting engineering teams through expert CAD use at Honeywell. Responsible for managing drafting tools and ensuring compliance with engineering processes.
Responsibilities
Create drawings for Test Stands, Rack, Panels, Electrical and Mechanical Fixtures, Electrical Schematics and Board Layouts
Prepare and maintain documentation related to engineering processes, including specifications, process flows, and change orders
Follow GD&T Best Practices
Monitor and manage the CAD database, ensuring data integrity and security.
Assist in the migration of CAD data between systems and ensure that files are organized properly for easy access.
Manage all drawings during the design phase and release into Team Center.
Maintain the Drafting Tool for Libraries
Coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
Provide specialized support to engineers in various phases of projects, including design, testing, and implementation.
Analyze existing engineering processes and CAD workflows to identify inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies within engineering practices.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience with CAD Systems such as CREO, SolidWorks, ORCAD, AutoCAD (Electrical and Mechanical or similar).
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices, along with familiarity with CAD software and engineering management systems.
Experience in aerospace or related industries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex information effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear information exchange among team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
