Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coordination and advice in the delivery of intergovernmental services
- Represent the Department externally and contribute to high-level working groups and national forums
- Lead the development and delivery of complex legislative, regulatory and policy initiatives related to the building and plumbing industries
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic planning and the delivery of departmental priorities
- Provide high-quality, authoritative strategic and operational advice on emerging and complex issues
- Build strong partnerships across government, industry and the community
- Effectively lead high-performing teams and organisational reform initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience with a proven record of success working in a large complex organisation
- Demonstrated contemporary leadership experience with a proven record of effectively engaging senior level stakeholders and leading complex projects
- An understanding of program and project management tools
- Extensive knowledge of the building and plumbing system in Victoria (desirable)
