Responsibilities
Work with an international team aimed towards reaching record-setting uptimes.
Learn the ins and outs of both Linux and Windows.
Be the first responder to all incidents and provide solutions for them.
Investigate complex problems and apply permanent solutions.
Work with a variety of server applications and software products (Apache, NGINX, MySQL, HAProxy, Veeam, VMware's virtualization suite)
Get familiar with our cloud infrastructure.
Keep all systems updated and perform regular maintenances.
Work on a flexible day/night shift schedule.
Requirements
Any experience with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Windows Server
Any experience with Apache, MySQL, NGINX, Varnish, Microsoft IIS
Basic networking knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow guidelines and procedures, recognize opportunities for improvements and execute them while coordinating your actions with the different departments.
Ability to quickly pick up new skills and constantly be in the loop in a dynamic environment while working on day and/or night shifts.
Advanced English is a must.
