About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide Network Support services for a Department of Defense (DoD) Senior Leader Network
  • Optimize system performance with quick and independent decision making skills
  • Manage WAN router, switch, and other networking configurations
  • Assist in subscriber frequency planning based on approved Discovery Frequency of Day
  • Monitor RF Connections and links and update or independently advise when appropriate
  • Manage SATCOM RF resources by monitoring frequencies, power control, and hand-offs
  • Perform post-mission analysis to assess performance against requirements
  • Operate computer network equipment to ensure network systems are available 24/7

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 3 years of prior networking troubleshooting experience
  • Must have a Top Secret clearance with eligibility to SCI
  • Sec+ required
