About the role

  • Senior Manager Finance responsible for FP&A in Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Medline in Europe. Overseeing strategic insights and financial rigor across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the FP&A activities for Operations, Manufacturing and Supply-Chain including planning (budgeting and forecasting), performance management (reporting, analysis and variance commentary), business partnering as well as projects and investments
  • Manage and develop a team of four FTE’s (two direct reports onshore, dotted-line reports: one onshore and one offshore), fostering collaboration and accountability across locations
  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing and Supply-Chain Leadership to provide financial insights that drive efficiency, cost optimization and performance
  • Own and enhance reporting and planning processes and tools, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial data
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, leveraging ERP tools and developed models
  • Strategic support across scaling or growth projects and/or initiatives, including capacity expansion, optimization or inorganic growth (M&A)
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
  • Further development, standardize and mature the existing reporting framework and analytical capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or accounting - advanced finance degree/MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of proven experience in FP&A, which of minimum 5 in manufacturing or operations environment, and 5 managing a team
  • Strong technical financial acumen, with deep understanding of cost accounting, supply chain finance and operational KPI’s
  • Proficiency in advanced modelling, M&A integration, infrastructure investments and growing the organizations
  • Proven experience in driving and/or supporting strategic decision-making and goal-setting initiatives, leading business improvement projects, and collaborating effectively within international teams
  • Strong communication skills (English required, French a strong plus)
  • Willingness to travel for business, mainly in Europe
