Responsibilities
- Lead, shape, and deliver the Company’s environmental permitting strategy across waste, water, minerals, and other regulated activities
- Oversee engagement with regulators, government departments, and political stakeholders, influencing policy and regulatory change
- Ensure strong governance, compliance assurance, and continuous improvement through effective permit management
Requirements
- Strong, demonstrable experience in environmental permitting, ideally within the waste, minerals, or heavy industrial sectors
- Solid understanding of environmental legislation, regulatory frameworks, and policy development
- Confident engaging and influencing regulators, government stakeholders, and senior internal leaders
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage complex, multi-site priorities effectively.
