About the role

  • Account Manager focusing on B2B growth within the media and publishing sector. Joining Cafeyn to drive client success and revenue generation in a digital reading platform.

Responsibilities

  • Secure and grow existing revenue: identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth within the current client base
  • Strengthen client relationships to ensure loyalty and long-term value
  • Act as a strategic partner for publishers: manage onboarding, deployment, and product evolution phases with clients, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Build long-term partnerships focused on mutual business growth
  • Professionalize MiLibris account management: standardize and optimize account management processes for consistency and efficiency
  • Implement best practices to improve client satisfaction and retention
  • Contribute actively to growth: identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth initiatives and implement innovative strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B account management experience, ideally in media, publishing, SaaS, or digital solutions for publishers
  • Strong understanding of publishers’ business challenges: digital distribution, subscriptions, revenue models, and editorial/technical constraints
  • Proven ability to manage client portfolios, secure contract renewals, and drive revenue growth through upsell opportunities (features, volumes, new titles, usage extensions)
  • Experienced in managing onboarding and product deployments, collaborating with product, technical, and support teams in demanding environments
  • Excellent customer service skills, operational rigor, and a strong focus on quality
  • Strong communication skills, able to build long-term, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders (business, product, technical teams, and management)
  • Autonomous, structured, reliable, and results-oriented, with full ownership of client portfolios
  • Fluency in French and English is essential.
