Responsibilities
Ownership of core operational processes
Monthly financial processing and reporting
HR management and contracting
Annual financial audit support
Employee on- and off-boarding
Defining and implementing clear, effective operational and financial processes
Expanding responsibility to areas such as budgeting, learning and development, team offsites, recruitment, IT strategy, workplan structure, prioritisation, and resourcing
Opportunities to work across fundraising and existing funder engagement, leadership team support, board meeting preparation, and partnerships
Requirements
c.2-4 years of experience, ideally (but not strictly) in fields such as start-ups, consulting, and professional services
Basic numerical analysis (in Excel)
Clear, concise written communication (ideally across both slides and longer-form content)
Experience owning processes (operational or otherwise) from end-to-end
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous contexts
Ambitions to progress quickly – within Carbon Gap and within the CDR/ climate sector more broadly
