About the role

  • Business Analyst enhancing customer acquisition processes for digital banking solutions at Candescent. Collaborating with teams and clients to define product requirements and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a deep understanding of the banking sector’s customer acquisition processes to provide examples related to Terafina’s product functionality
  • Elicits requirements from the client and converts them into user stories and product requirements
  • Works as a part of the project team and act as a bridge between the client and the Terafina technology team by elaborating the client requirements
  • Ability to translate and understand integration requirements underlying the business requirements
  • Liaises between the client and internal stakeholders to validate, analyze and document the requirements in the form of user stories
  • Participates and lead discovery activities with the customer to lay down the requirements
  • Participates in the functional design and solutioning
  • Works closely with the QA team to create test scenarios and review the test cases
  • Ability to learn the Agile methodology and related project tools
  • Participates in the sprint grooming sessions and sprint reviews both internally and with the customer
  • Open to travel to client site for requirements gathering and implementation activities like UAT

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the financial industry dealing with customer acquisitions and client interactions.
  • Having worked in a bank / credit union or a technology service provider
  • Business Banking experience is preferred but is not a prerequisite
  • User experience with banking systems, for example core systems and Loan origination system like FIS, Temenos, Fiserv, Jack Henry, Lending 360 etc.
  • Understand of the digital banking’s acquisition process is desirable
  • Experience in implementing digital solutions would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite
  • Familiar with Agile methodology would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite
  • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce would be an added advantage but is not a prerequisite
  • Experience in customer onboarding is preferred
