Responsibilities
Manage our Marketing and Sales team (3 staff) and outside resources
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in target markets, and develop relationships with them to secure new business
Create and maintain a customer database
Reporting on group sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting
Achieve sales targets, at expected profit margins, by converting leads into sales
Work with Marketing and Sales resources to organize collateral including data sheets, brochures, and marketing merchandise
Conducting client demonstrations and presentations of our products and services, both remote and in person
Organizing, writing, and reviewing Proposals, Quotes and Submittals
Working with other Group Managers on client retention and key account initiatives
Conducting internal sales training programs
Requirements
Background/experience in solution sales, preferably within the mining or civil engineering industries
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expected profit margins
Excellent communication and sales presentation skills and techniques, and competent in using presentation tools such as PowerPoint
Electronic product and/or software sales
Management experience
Relevant Degree or Postgraduate qualifications
