About the role

  • Administrator of insurance remuneration managing commission entries and assisting in financial database tasks at Horizons Financial. Position available for full-time students during summer internship.

Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile compensation and commission payments, including entering commissions into the administrative system (WealthServ)
  • Enter commissions for associated general agents into the appropriate databases
  • Contribute to entries and notices in the Debt Module
  • Provide coverage for colleagues during absences and vacations
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (college or university) in finance or a related field
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset; required only for Quebec-based positions
  • Positive attitude (essential)
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Mathematical and reconciliation skills (analysis and problem solving)
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-service orientation
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is an asset
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
