About the role

  • Student Life Coordinator responsible for CAU Housing operations and logistics, ensuring safe and efficient residential facilities. Collaborates with Residence Life and maintains housing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the operational and logistical functions of CAU Housing.
  • Supports planning, maintenance, and day-to-day functioning of residential facilities.
  • Responsible for housing logistics, student occupancy processes, building inspections, and coordination of maintenance and facilities needs.
  • Maintains coverage of the front housing office.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for housing operations inquiries.
  • Assists with routine building inspections, including health, safety, and facilities checks.
  • Submits, tracks, and follows up on maintenance and facilities work orders.
  • Supports inventory tracking for housing supplies and operational materials.
  • Communicates operational expectations clearly and escalates staff-related concerns as appropriate.
  • Refers student conduct, engagement, and community matters to Residence Life staff.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent, or six months to one-year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additionally, one or two years’ related experience and/or training in university programming, residence life, and education preferred.
  • Ability to interact in a pleasant and professional manner with all types of people.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, set and meet deadlines and manage unexpected situations.
  • Strong technology skills necessary.
