Responsibilities
Drive and establish a positive Safety, Health and Environmental culture
Assist in the development and monitoring of activities related to Health and Safety Policies.
Provide technical and legal advice for Health and Safety compliance.
Support business teams in the development and implementation of Environmental, Safety and Health Policies.
Travel 25-40% of the time at customer sites.
Take a prominent role as a member/leader of Health & Safety improvement initiatives.
Assist in the development and maintenance of EHS Management Systems.
Investigate accidents and implement control measures to prevent reoccurrence.
Conduct safety inspections at installation projects when required.
Assist in developing and practicing emergency procedures.
Liaise with Calderys Safety Installation Director EMEA to report good practices and legislative changes.
Develop and deliver communication and training strategies related to EHS issues.
Create a positive safety mindset daily with all stakeholders.
Requirements
Secondary education Diploma ideally with technical specialty
Degree in Safety or EHS education (e.g. Nebosh / HVK)
Min. 5 years of experience in EHS related business
Proven people management experience
Car driving licence.
Experience with contractor management
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
Good knowledge and understanding of Environmental Legislation
Ability to provide accurate and comprehensive written and verbal reports.
Flexible approach to working hours, readiness to travel nationally and internationally
