About the role

  • Senior Systems Development Analyst focusing on SQL at Caixa Vida e Previdência. Develop and maintain business system applications to support various business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing computerized applications and their integrations, implementing and maintaining systems according to appropriate methodologies and techniques to meet established objectives for quality, cost, timelines, and benefits.
  • Design and plan the development or acquisition of systems.
  • Specify architecture to ensure optimal use of technological resources and alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide support and implement new features in the company's current business systems.
  • Analyze, assess feasibility, and develop information systems using suitable methodologies and procedures for deployment, aiming to streamline and/or automate processes and work routines across the company's business areas.
  • Gather data and define the methods and resources needed to implement new systems and/or modify existing ones.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of deployed systems, re-evaluate routines, manuals, and work methods to ensure they meet business needs, and recommend more effective work methodologies or solutions.
  • Research and evaluate market-available systems and their applicability to the company, analyzing the cost/benefit of acquisition.
  • Train and support users in the use of developed or third-party systems to ensure correct operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT (Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Computer Programming, or related fields).
  • Experience working as a SQL Server developer.
  • Experience developing scripts, jobs, and batches on the SQL platform.
  • Experience optimizing SQL routines.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis techniques.
  • Experience in database modeling.
  • Experience handling CSV files.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (TFS, Azure/Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban, or Lean).
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, and/or performance testing.
