About the role

  • Senior Developer at Caixa Vida e Previdência, focusing on PL/SQL development and maintaining business systems. Looking for expertise in Oracle technologies for system integration and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing computerized applications and their integrations by designing, implementing and maintaining systems according to appropriate methodologies and techniques, aiming to meet established objectives in terms of quality, cost, timelines and benefits.
  • Design and plan the development or procurement of systems;
  • Specify architecture to ensure optimal use of technological resources and alignment with business requirements;
  • Provide support for and implement new features in the company’s current business system;
  • Analyze, assess feasibility and develop information systems using appropriate methodologies and procedures for deployment, aiming to streamline and/or automate processes and work routines across the company’s various business areas;
  • Collect data and define the methods and resources required to deploy new systems and/or modify existing ones;
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of deployed systems, reassess routines, manuals and work methods to verify they meet business needs, and suggest more effective work methodologies or solutions;
  • Research and evaluate market-available systems and their applicability to the company, analyzing the cost/benefit of acquisition;
  • Train and support users in the use of developed or third-party acquired systems to ensure correct operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT (Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Computer Programming, etc.)
  • Experience working as a PL/SQL developer.
  • Experience developing with Oracle Forms;
  • Experience with the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite and/or Oracle WebLogic Server;
  • Experience optimizing PL routines;
  • Experience with requirements elicitation and analysis techniques;
  • Experience handling CVS files;
  • Knowledge of version control tools (TFS or IBM Jazz);
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban or Lean);
  • Knowledge of unit, integration and/or performance testing.
