About the role

  • Senior Analyst responsible for developing PL/SQL applications to enhance business systems at Caixa Vida e Previdência. Engaging in planning, implementation, and support of technological solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing computerized applications and their integrations, developing, deploying, and maintaining systems according to appropriate methodologies and techniques, aiming to meet established objectives for quality, cost, timelines, and benefits.
  • Design and plan the development or acquisition of systems;
  • Specify system architecture to ensure optimal use of technological resources and alignment with business requirements;
  • Provide support and implement new features in the company's current business system;
  • Analyze, assess feasibility, and develop information systems using appropriate methodologies and procedures for implementation, aiming to streamline and/or automate processes and workflows across the company's business areas;
  • Conduct data gathering and define methods and resources required for implementing new systems and/or modifying existing ones;
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of deployed systems, reassess routines, manuals, and work methods to verify they meet business needs, and propose more effective work methodologies or solutions;
  • Research and evaluate market-available systems and their applicability to the company, analyzing the cost/benefit ratio of acquisition;
  • Train and support users in the use of developed systems or third-party solutions to ensure correct operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT (Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Computer Programming, or related fields).
  • Experience working as a PL/SQL developer.
  • Experience with Oracle Forms development;
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware suite and/or Oracle WebLogic Server;
  • Experience optimizing PL/SQL routines;
  • Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis techniques;
  • Experience handling CSV files;
  • Knowledge of version control tools (TFS or IBM Jazz);
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban, or Lean);
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, and/or performance testing.
