About the role
- Junior Investment Analyst responsible for daily fund applications and redemptions at Caixa Vida e Previdência. Ensuring documentation and communication with custodians and assets for smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Daily processing of fund subscriptions and redemptions, maintaining constant communication with the custodian and asset manager;
- Registration of new funds with the custodian;
- Updating various records and registries;
- Management of powers of attorney;
- Responding to requests from internal departments;
- Signing off on daily transactions;
- Sending documents to attorneys-in-fact for signature;
- Sending company cash statements (biweekly and monthly closings);
- Controlling and executing the department's payments;
- Control of CETIP/Selic statements;
Requirements
- Basic understanding of how financial markets operate and the characteristics of different financial instruments, such as stocks, public and private bonds, investment funds, ETFs, derivatives, etc.
- Basic knowledge of financial mathematics.
- Basic understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic principles and their influence on financial markets.
- Ability to organize work to meet deadlines and to manage document submissions, including collecting signatures.
- Excel: ability to build and maintain spreadsheets in an organized and automated way, using formulas such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF and others.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- VBA, Python and/or other programming languages will be considered a differential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to perform the team’s studies and analyses.
- Certifications such as CPA-20 or other investment-related certifications demonstrate specialization.
