Responsibilities
In this role, you'll lead and innovate within the department, managing a team to drive results and uphold C.A. Fortune’s culture.
You’ll oversee daily operations, address staffing needs, and ensure top-tier client and customer management within the West Region.
Your responsibilities include building strong relationships with key account personnel, advising on strategic goals, and attending major industry events to represent C.A. Fortune.
You’ll drive revenue growth, maintain budgeted expenses, and identify new opportunities for product distribution and promotional activity.
By meeting or exceeding client KPIs and delivering impactful sales presentations, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing client partnerships and achieving business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
Significant work experience as department director or similar position – CPG experience is a must
Outstanding leadership, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Able to excel in high-pressure situations and exhibit problem solving/solutions-oriented mindset
Excellent communication & organization skills
Must demonstrate sales planning, forecasting and sales execution experience.
Must have strong comfort level with reading, interpreting and presentation data – SPINS, Nielsen & IRI
Aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to develop customer-specific tactical plans and options.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and functional groups.
Ability and confidence presenting to an executive audience, internally and externally.
Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software; problem solver; well-developed organizational, communication and time management skills.
