Manager supporting the Laneshift Initiative in Brazil, promoting zero emission freight transportation. Collaborating with regional teams and partners for project success.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day execution of the Laneshift Initiative workplan in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and the e-Dutra green corridor, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Coordinate with partner organizations (Smart Freight Centre, Calstart, WRI, ICCT, WBCSD) to ensure aligned implementation and effective collaboration.
Develop and maintain project timelines, risk registers, and budget tracking systems.
Monitor and track project KPIs, preparing regular progress reports and presentations for internal teams, the project founder, and external stakeholders.
Support business engagement efforts with fleet operators, logistics companies, vehicle manufacturers, charging infrastructure providers, and other private sector stakeholders.
Coordinate with local governments in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo to ensure alignment between project activities and city priorities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Public Policy or related field is highly desired.
Extensive professional experience in project management and urban mobility, sustainable transportation, or related fields.
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, partners, and deliverables.
Experience managing consultancies and technical service providers, including scope definition, deliverable oversight, and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of urban mobility and zero emission vehicle sectors in Brazil and Latin America.
Familiarity with freight transportation, logistics operations, and the commercial vehicle ecosystem.
Understanding of sustainable transportation policy frameworks, financing mechanisms, and charging infrastructure deployment.
Experience with project management methodologies, KPI tracking, and reporting systems.
Strong analytical skills and ability to organize and synthesize complex data for various audiences.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills in intercultural and multidisciplinary settings.
Proven experience in business engagement and public-private partnership facilitation.
