About the role

Responsibilities

  • The Housekeeping Manager serves as key support to the operations team.
  • Directly leading a high-performing team of housekeepers, and laundry attendants with the support of inspectors and supervisors.
  • Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
  • Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
  • Works cohesively with property leadership to ensure guest satisfaction levels exceed expectations.
  • Conducts regular walk-throughs, inspections, and quality checks to drive adherence to standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two to five years of experience in housekeeping in the hospitality industry or a related role
  • 3+ in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Thorough knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning materials, and equipment
  • Ability to supervise and work with employees
  • Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies
  • Tact and resourcefulness in dealing with the public
  • Strong communication skills.
