Responsibilities
- Build and grow client relationships in Mining, Metals, Fertilizers, and Chemicals as primary focus
- Identify opportunities, win work, and lead the execution of the projects
- Act as Project Director, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability
- Mentor Project Managers and collaborate with Client Account Managers
- Drive strategic growth aligned with Black & Veatch’s Strategy
- Manage bottom-line results across a portfolio of projects leveraging Black & Veatch’s multidisciplinary solutions
- Own day-to-day successful execution across performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction
- Develop project staffing plans, resource assignments, and execution methodologies; ensure compliance with standards and procedures
- Negotiate, assess, and mitigate contractual risk across projects and subcontractors
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring quality and client expectations are met.
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience, Mining project exposure
- Proven success in services and EPC delivery
- Demonstrated experience with services work, EPC/EPCM projects, and complex risk profiles
- Deep knowledge of the mining and natural resources market
- Existing client relationships in the segment
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
