About the role

  • Business Development Officer driving revenue growth by acquiring high-value customers for Busha. Involved in managing institutional clients and strategic partners within fintech.

Responsibilities

  • Driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing high-value customers, institutional clients, and strategic partners.
  • Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building to deal closure and account growth.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Driving end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
  • Leveraging experience from banking or financial institutions to identify market opportunities.
  • Converting existing financial services relationships into active Busha users.
  • Developing and executing business development strategies to drive user acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue growth.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and developing entry strategies for crypto, FX, and cross-border payments.
  • Expanding Busha’s footprint by developing business cases for new markets and product lines.
  • Building and managing relationships with financial institutions, payment service providers, and key fintech/crypto stakeholders.
  • Negotiating and onboarding large volume traders and enterprise partners.
  • Supporting the development of the go to market strategy, including a list of prioritized client and solution opportunities, a detailed view of the revenue opportunity, and a market engagement plan.
  • Leading initiatives to drive revenue growth through high value B2B Partnerships and institutional onboarding.
  • Using data-driven insights to measure and refine business development efforts.
  • Working closely with the legal and compliance team to ensure all business development initiatives align with regulatory requirements.
  • Developing solid projects pipeline, driving conversions and securing revenue growth over time.
  • Identifying and attending appropriate industry events and speaking engagements.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies to keep Busha competitive.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within: Commercial or Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Advisory, Fintech or Financial Services
  • Established connections with banks, PSPs and FX liquidity providers.
  • Familiarity with compliance, AML policies, and global crypto/FX regulations.
  • Proven track record of closing high value partnerships and driving B2B sales.
  • Experience as a Relationship Manager, Business Development Officer, Account Manager, or Sales Lead
  • A strong client portfolio or network
  • Comfort selling regulated financial products
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Confidence engaging senior decision-makers
  • Nice to Have: Experience selling financial, investment, or technology-enabled products. Existing network within banks, financial institutions, or corporate organizations. Knowledge or interest in fintech, digital assets, or emerging financial technologies.
