About the role

  • Develop and implement sales excellence strategies to continuously and sustainably optimize sales processes and structures
  • Continuously improve and further develop sales planning and control instruments as well as the use of relevant IT tools (CRM, etc.)
  • Prepare sales revenue planning in close collaboration with the sales departments and business units
  • Regularly collect sales performance data, perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, and enhance sales reports
  • Prepare special analyses for divisional management and executive leadership and contribute to other company-wide reporting processes
  • Provide subject-matter support in developing the overarching sales strategy, produce market analyses, and ensure alignment between strategy and planning
  • Maintain close communication with the sales departments, business units, the finance department, corporate strategy, and other relevant company areas to enable efficient task execution and a future-oriented company direction

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in sales controlling or a similar role, ideally in the context of IT/technology project business within a corporate environment
  • Strong numerical understanding and an interest in the context behind the numbers
  • Solid knowledge of CRM systems and other software tools (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint)
  • Thoroughness and reliability, as well as initiative, independence, and team spirit
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness combined with presentation and moderation abilities
  • Fluent, demonstrable German language skills
