About the role

  • Intern designing and refining training systems for teacher onboarding at Brownsville Preparatory Institute. Collaborating on curriculum and educator support initiatives in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and refines the training systems that support teacher onboarding and ongoing professional growth.
  • Builds new-teacher onboarding curriculum (“First Week” and “First 30 Days”).
  • Creates teacher competency frameworks and role clarity guides.
  • Develops micro-trainings, observation tools, and classroom resources.
  • Drafts updates to the Teacher Handbook and instructional SOPs.
  • Collaborates with the Curriculum Coach to ensure pedagogy alignment.
  • Works with HRBP Intern to ensure training aligns with job descriptions.

Requirements

  • Ideal for students in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or Organizational Psychology.
  • This position requires a Level 2 Background Screening through the Clearinghouse.
