Responsibilities

Contribute to PLC software architecture, take technical ownership and be responsible for projects as a whole – not just implementation.
Development, programming and commissioning of control systems for custom machinery.
Implementation of control strategies for pressure, temperature and other process parameters.
Creation and maintenance of HMI visualizations (e.g., WinCC, web HMI).
Integration of sensors, actuators and drive systems (e.g., Festo, KEB, Siemens).
Development and maintenance of modular software libraries in TIA Portal.
Optimization of existing applications and commissioning both in-house and at customer sites.
Customer support remote/on-site; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Close collaboration with mechanical, electrical and process engineering teams.
Requirements
Completed technical training with further qualification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or industrial supervisor/master (m/f/d), or a degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering or mechatronics.
Several years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
Confident use of Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1500, ET200SP).
Knowledge of WinCC Advanced/Professional, PROFINET and drive technology (Festo/KEB).
Understanding of process workflows in plastics or press technology.
